The African Clawed Frog is wreaking havoc on some U.S. fresh-water ecosystems, especially
in the southwestern states.

San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park has been devastated by these slippery visitors. Since the frogs are carnivorous, they have fed upon native fish, turtle and frog populations, and scientists worry that they could spread to other San Francisco habitats.
