"<b>Leader of the Pack.</b><br><br>Beagles are pack animals and do not like to be left alone.<br><br>No one should take on a Beagle unless they are willing to provide the animal with a great deal of attention.<br><br>Owners who leave Beagles alone for long periods should know these animals have an amazing ability to entertain themselves. They might come home to find their shoes and furniture slightly 'rearranged.'<br><br>If owners are gone for long periods, it is best to make sure someone else will be there with the dog.
